Who is Jared?

I am a 25-year-old entrepreneur who can’t stop thinking about great things to build and ideas to implement. I’m working constantly as a result, but as they say: do something you love and it won’t feel like work.

A brief timeline of my life:

  • 1984 – Born in Waltham, MA – grew up in Natick Ma.
  • 1998 – Moved to Holliston, MA
  • 2001- Founded my first real business with my brother Mark – Slush Productions DJ Service
  • 2003 – Graduated from Holliston High School
  • 2003 – Began College at UMass, Amherst.
  • 2005 – Founded second business with office in Hadley, MA – JaredWeb, Inc. is born
  • 2006 – Worked for the Mitt Romney for President campaign as a web developer
  • 2006 – Founded third business with office in Amherst, MA – CampusLIVE.com is born
  • 2008 -CampusLIVE is taking off. We have 5 full time employees and 15 interns. We’re live at 18 Universities.
  • 2008 – September – Featured in Businessweek as one of the “Best Young Entrepreneurs of 2008″
  • 2009 – January – Over 50 Universities are LIVE on CampusLIVE
  • 2009 – June – CampusLIVE employs 9 full time employees (including a dev. team finally!)
  • 2009 – September – CampusLIVE is now LIVE at 100 universities in the U.S.
  • 2010 – January – CampusLIVE “Falcon Release” goes live. Completely rewritten core and new features.
  • 2010 – January – CampusLIVE launches an additional 50 university homepages, now LIVE at 150 in the U.S.
  • 2010 – February – CampusLIVE announces $320,000 investment for expansion and development
